Poem
Lost Memory
Through the hazy mist of memory Lost moments come rushing back Past visions, like ancient history Things I never knew I lost, till they came back.
Through the eyes of a younger mind, I see Once happy memories now faded Lost to the endless twists of time, the memory Of an innocent youth, re-created.
Who am I now? A future self asks Through the eyes of a different sight Memories of the past, cease to last Lost moments viewed in altered light.
What once was a youthful soul Now blighted by the scars of time Through the eyes of a child, now old The question arises, who was I?
